2023 will mark the 30th anniversary of the Dwight Scott Memorial Golf Tournament. Held annually since 1993, the event organized by Curt Conway and Dale Lewis, supports BABI. The event is held at Black Rock Golf Course with 32 teams and nearly 130 golfers on the last Monday of June. Golfers who participated last year get first opportunity to sign up the following year and a waiting list is kept for this popular event.
Thanks to the support of local sponsors and golfers, the tournament has raised an impressive total of $135,000 to support student athletics since it was founded (as of 2022).
The tournament seeks sponsors each year for this successful event:
Silver – $50.00 gets an individual sponsor sign placed at a hole on the course.
Gold – $100.00 gets an individual sponsor sign placed at a hole on the course and will appear in the tournament history booklet given to each golfer.
